Below you will find some need to know things about sessions with A&M Photography. Please read each of these bullets in its entirety for your understanding. Most information covered here the same within our client photography contracts.

Session Information


  • The photographer reserves the right to use images for advertising on the web, Facebook, and business cards, etc. Let your photographer know if you prefer to have your photos private.
  • No part of any session, including previews, will be delivered until the balance is paid in full. Cash is the preferred method of payment.
  • Original photographs are not included, only edits. The photographer retains the right to edit the photographs and omit any image. The photographer will not deliver every exposure taken. The client will abide by the photographer’s editing decisions and will not crop the image(s) or apply their own filter over the photographers edits.
  • Clients will receive photos through an online website where pictures can be download for personal use. This will come via email to the client.
  • Please arrive to your session 10 minutes early. If clients are late to their session and time is cut short, the photographer will end the session at the time the session was originally planned to end.
  • Please come ready to smile, pose, and work with your photographer for the best images possible. When you are more relaxed and photogenic, your images look so much better! Also, remove keys and phones from your pockets so they are not a distraction in the images.
  • There is no fee for rescheduling a session due to weather, illness, etc. Be honest about your reason with the photographer and communicate early. Please do be respectful of the photographers time and provide a 24 hour notice if possible. The session will be rescheduled at the convenience of the photographer.
  • Travel within the photographers area is not charged. A travel fee for sessions outside of the photographers area will be added to the cost of the session and the client will be made aware.
  • A photography contract will be signed by both parties.

Wedding Photography Information

  • A nonrefundable retainer of 50% of the total balance is due when booking to reserve your special day with the photographer(s).
  • Galleries will be delivered within 4-6 weeks from the wedding date.
  • When images have been delivered, the client has up to 30 days to request any changes in editing only to major images.
  • One wedding package is offered. It includes 8 hours of photography with 2 photographers (if available), 10 wallet sized images (usually 2x3), a downloadable gallery, an anniversary session one year after the wedding, and is valued at $1,000. If additional hours are needed, the client may purchase time for $120 per hour if more than eight hours are needed in order to capture everything you want.
  • An engagement session can be added to the wedding package for an additional $180. This session includes an outfit change, is 45 minutes long and typically is valued at $200.
  • A wedding photography contract will be signed by both parties and the retainer is due at the time of signing the contract to ensure your date is booked with the photographer.
  • After the retainer is paid and the date is approaching, the bride and the photographer will discuss wedding day plans via email with paperwork and have a phone call to discuss further details if the photographer feels the need to discuss further details.
